Overview

MovieQuiz is designed with privacy in mind. You do not need to create an account, provide an email, or share any personal information to use our quizzes.

What We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:

• Anonymous identifier: We use your IP address to enforce our daily generation limit (3 AI results per day) and prevent abuse. We do not store your full IP address permanently.
• Quiz answers: Your quiz answers are processed to calculate your result and are not stored separately.
• Generated results: Your quiz result, AI-generated text, and AI-generated image are stored so you can access and share your unique result URL.

What We Do Not Collect

• No accounts or email addresses
• No names or personal identifiers
• No tracking cookies for advertising
• No browsing history

AI Generation

When you complete a quiz, we use Cloudflare Workers AI to generate personalized text and a unique cinematic image. Your quiz answers are sent to the AI model to generate your result. This data is processed in real-time and not retained by the AI provider beyond what is necessary for the generation.

Data Storage

Generated results are stored in Cloudflare D1 (metadata) and Cloudflare R2 (images). This includes your result text, traits, and generated image. This data is associated with a random result ID, not with your identity.

Sharing

When you share your result, the unique result URL is publicly accessible. Anyone with the link can view your result. The URL contains a random ID and does not reveal your identity.

Data Retention

Generated results are retained indefinitely so shared links continue to work. Rate limit data is retained for up to 24 hours.

Children's Privacy

MovieQuiz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
